Founded in 2009 in Farigliano, Piedmont, Naturalmente’s mission is the production of high quality foods through the combined use of organic farming techniques and integrated agriculture.
When speaking of Langhe, one thinks of famous wines, tonda gentile hazelnuts and truffles, products that have made Piedmont famous throughout the world. It is a region where the hills dominate and that combines a rich, ancient history with a well-established agricultural tradition. Even UNESCO has defined Langhe as a World Heritage Site.
Organic farming is a type of agriculture that takes into consideration the whole agricultural ecosystem, exploits the natural fertility of the soil with limited interventions, promotes the biodiversity of the environment in which it operates and excludes the use of synthetic chemicals (fertilisers, herbicides, pesticides) and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). To be considered organic a product must follow specific cultivation rules and pass the stringent controls of an accredited inspection and certification body: in Naturalmente’s case the process is certified by Bioagricert.
Naturalmente is not only organic and quality farming. Naturalmente is also Social Agriculture.
The work activities, often manual, positively affect the physical and mental health of people in particular disadvantageous and difficult situations, which then have positive repercussions in society.
